Mediation and Fact Finding Experience :
I have had the pleasure and privilege of being mentored by Dr. Jennie K. Bullard, an experienced arbitrator and mediator with a stellar reputation in the field. While serving under her tutelage, I have been permitted to attend numerous arbitration hearings involving both the public and private sectors. While at the hearings, it is my responsibility to take copious notes, making sure that all important points and testimony are noted. In addition, I am responsible to make sure all exhibits are entered, accepted as evidence, retained in order and preserved for Dr. Bullard. Since my mentoring began, I have had the privilege of discussing cases with Dr. Bullard, assisting her in determining the issues involved and participating in the analysis of the evidence and testimony presented. I have also participated in drafting language for the final decision and participating in discussions with Dr. Bullard as she arrives at the decision and award. Cases have involved both the public and private sector and have included: Contract language interpretation, past practice, and terminations.
